A 23-year old woman was pulled through a set of doors and had her purse and camera bag stolen in Dartmouth yesterday.
From Halifax Police:
“At 1:00 p.m. this afternoon , police were called to Alderney Landing, 2 Ochterloney St, Dartmouth in relation to a robbery. Upon arrival officers learned that a male suspect had attempted to take a woman’s purse and camera bag. The victim, a 23 year old female, refused to allow the suspect to take the purse and camera bag and a struggle ensured during which the suspect pulled the victim through a set of doors. Persons in the area intervened and the suspect fled the scene. Police located the male, age 33, and have charged him with Robbery and Breach of Probation. He is being held for court this morning. The victim suffered a sprained finger in the incident.”
