Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that weather permitting, parts of Queen Street and Artillery Place in Halifax will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 27, for paving work.
Starting at 7 a.m. Thursday, Queen Street will shut down between Spring Garden Road and Sackville Street, as well as Artillery Place from Queen Street to Dresden Row. Both streets will reopen to traffic at about 7 p.m. that night.
The sidewalks in the area will remain open during this work. Motorists should expect some delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes, if possible. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this closure or the road work may cause.
