At 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Queens County District RCMP received a 911 call of a collision involving a motorcycle and a deer on Highway 208 at Frank Lake, approximately 48 kms north of Liverpool.
As a result of the collision, the rider of the motorcycle, a 54-year-old man of Bridgewater, was transported by EHS LifeFlight to the QEII in Halifax where he later passed away.
A detour was in place for several hours while an RCMP Collision Analyst attended the collision scene. The investigation is continuing.
