Queens District RCMP arrest five people after drug search, Liverpool, N.S.

RCMP arrested five people after a home was searched in Liverpool.

On March 14th, 2015 at approximately 8 p.m., Queens District RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Main Street in Liverpool.

As a result of the search, RCMP seized a quantity of percocets, dilaudid, marijuana, cannabis resin, as well as drug paraphernalia and cash. Three males and two females between the ages of 18 and 31 were arrested at the residence without incident.

Two males, ages 20 and 21, respectively from Milton and Liverpool and one 31-year-old female Liverpool were charged with Possession of a Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

A 24-year-old male from Liverpool and an 18-year-old female from Liverpool were charged with Possession of a Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking under the CDSA and several offences of Failing to Comply with an Undertaking.

All of the accused were released from custody and will appear in Liverpool Provincial Court on June 2nd, 2015.
