I had a superbusy weekend. Most of it was spent in the kitchen. I baked around 14 dozen cookies in total for the halibloggers cookie exchange. Saturday night I frosted/sprinkled the first batch and woke up the next morning and all the dye had ran from the green sprinkles. EFF ME! So I made more cookies yesterday and they are plain old Christmas trees. Sorry gals, these cookies aren’t getting decorated.
Other than the cookies I also made a huge tray of xmas squares, 2 dozen rolls, banana choc chip muffins, spicy shrimp and a cream of broccoli & cheddar soup.
I’m done in the kitchen and would like to have a life soon.
I have a bunch of things that I want to share and will be doing a big post this evening.
PS. This week could get ugly – it’s our 2nd anniversary, my birthday, BIL’s birthday, halibloggers potluck dinner/cookie exchange, Santa Shuffle 5K and my family holiday brunch. Plus we’re trying to fit some Christmas shopping in there somewhere.
