On Thursday, October 22, Halifax Water crews will be continuing work toreinstate the curb and sidewalk near 6237 Quinpool Road. This work will take place between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. This work has been extended due to recent poor weather conditions for concrete work.

During this work, Quinpool Road will be reduced to three lanes, two inbound lanes and a single outbound lane. The sidewalk will be closed near the work zone; a marked detour will be in place. See attached map.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services as a result of this work.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
