Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that beginning this evening at 7 p.m. and continuing until tomorrow morning (Friday) at 7 a.m., manhole and valve adjustments, as well as milling, will take place on Quinpool Road between Connaught Avenue and Oxford Street.

Traffic signals at the Connaught Avenue/Quinpool Road intersection will be shut down beginning at 7 p.m.

Traffic signals at the Oxford Street/Quinpool Road intersection will be shut down beginning at 9 p.m.

Both sets of lights at these locations will remain off until 7 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 28), and traffic control personnel will be in place while work is underway.  

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
