Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Paving will take place this evening (Thursday) on Quinpool Road between Poplar Street and Monastery Lane.
Crews will be on site from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Friday. Lane drops will be in place while work is underway and Quinpool Road will be closed to truck traffic.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to use alternative routes whenever possible.
The following Halifax Transit detours will be in place after 7 p.m. Buses will service all existing stops on the detour routing:
Route # 6 Stonehaven: From Cogswell Street: will turn right on Robie Street, left on Cunard Street, straight on Chebucto Road, right on Mumford Road to regular routing.
Route # 6 Downtown: From Mumford Terminal: left on Chebucto Road, straight on Cunard Street, right on Robie Street, left on Cogswell Street to regular routing.
Route # 20 Herring Cove: Straight on Robie Street, left on Cunard Street, straight on Chebucto Road to regular route.
Route # 20 Downtown: Straight on Chebucto Road, straight on Cunard Street, right on Robie Street to regular routing.
