Friday, August 28, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that on Sunday, August 30, manhole cover and valve adjustments will take place on Quinpool Road from Oxford Street and Monastery Lane from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Following this work, asphalt milling will get underway at approximately 7 p.m. and will continue into the evening hours until this section of road is complete. Please note the contractor has obtained an exemption to the Noise By-law to undertake this work.

During this work there will be lane drops in place. Motorists should expect delays and find alternative routes where possible.

The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience that may be caused by this road work.
