Rachel And Rafael Franco. A Passion For Dance.

Rachel and Rafael Franco visit Ashley King in this episode of halifamous to tell us how they work together as a team and about there last event in halifax before they leave for Toronto. The are a duo known for their innovative work using evocative soundscapes and mesmerizing text – often filled with a serious dose of humour – with sly choreography that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. In their newest production, Special Nostalgia, Rachel has recruited Jacinte Armstrong and Susanne Chui, two of the most gifted dance
artists performing in the region. This is a foursome that can embrace any artistic challenge and can bring audiences with them through their creativity, humour, and sheer imaginative talent. Choreographer Rachel Franco says, "Special Nostalgia is a theatrical dance created from a script that follows the lives of three women and one man.  It’s a surreal world where anything is possible and surprises lurk around every corner."
