Rainnie Drive/Gottingen Street intersection – Road Construction

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists and residents that road work will be begin today (Wednesday) and continue for the next three weeks at the Rainnie Drive/Gottingen Street intersection.

The work will include the removal of existing asphalt, concrete curb and gutter replacement, as well as repaving.

Crews will be on site daily from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Lane drops and stop-and-go traffic will be experienced by motorists while work is underway.

Motorists should expect long delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
