RCMP are advising the public to be aware of suspicious activity involving a security alarm company in East Preston. Last evening, 8:30 p.m., RCMP received a call from a residence on Highway 7 in East Preston.

Last evening, 8:30 p.m., RCMP received a call from a residence on Highway 7 in East Preston.

A man stated he was from Protectron Security. The suspicious male wanted to come into her house and see her security system. The lady did the right thing and contacted the security company who advised that they did not have anyone in the area.

The suspect is described as a white male, believed to be in his 40’s and over six feet tall. In speaking to her neighbours, it was learned that another male had done the same thing but said he was with a different alarm company. That male departed in a newer model VW Jetta,
