The Halifax District RCMP Major Crime Unit is looking for dashcam video in relation to a homicide investigation in East Preston.

On August 30, 2022, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Hwy. 7 in East Preston. RCMP officers discovered the body of a deceased man in the vehicle. The RCMP is investigating the death as a homicide.

RCMP investigators are searching for dashcam video that would have been taken by anyone travelling in the 1900 block area of Hwy. 7, beginning on the evening of August 29 and into, and including, the morning of August 30.
