RCMP are Investigating ATV / Truck Crash in East Jeddore

Halifax District RCMP in Musquodoboit are investigating a collision between a pick-up truck and an all terrain vehicle (ATV) that occurred on the East Jeddore Road earlier this evening.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the ATV was travelling south bound on the roadway when it struck the pick-up truck which was travelling in the north bound direction.

The male teenage driver of the ATV was airlifted to the IWK with serious injuries which the police do not believe to be life threatening. The twenty-seven year old driver of the truck was not injured.

Both drivers are residents of the East Jeddore community.

The investigation continues.
