RCMP arrest local man for drug related offences, Maxwellton, N.S.

An investigation by Yarmouth and Meteghan RCMP has led to the arrest of a local man yesterday.

On Saturday morning at approximately 8:40 a.m., RCMP officers executed a Search Warrant at a residence in Maxwellton.

Upon entry, RCMP located an indoor Marihuana grow and some Hashish. A 24-year-old Maxwellton man was arrested without incident. He is facing charges of Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Hashish.

The man was released and will appear in court date on October 31st, 2013. The investigation is continuing.
