The RCMP Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) executed a search warrant in Waterville and seized marijuana.

At approximately 6 p.m on Tuesday, RCMP Valley Integrated SCEU executed a search warrant at a residence on Joudrey Mountain Road.

As a result of the search, RCMP seized a large number of mature marijuana plants growing both inside and outside the residence. A 36-year-old Waterville man was arrested without incident.

The man, who was released from custody, will be facing a charge of Production of Marijuana and will appear in Kentville Provincial Court on December 22nd, 2014.
