RCMP arrest man for threats and drug possession, Richmond County, N.S.

Richmond County have arrested a man for threats and drug possession in L'Ardoise. On Monday April 21st, Adam Roger Joseph Cormier, 34, was arrested for uttering threats to shoot at police officers if he saw them near his property.

On Monday April 21st, Adam Roger Joseph Cormier, 34, was arrested for uttering threats to shoot at police officers if he saw them near his property.

As a result of the threats and subsequent arrest, RCMP executed a search warrant on the man’s residence on April 22nd to search for any firearms related to the threats. During the search, officers seized a substantial quantity of marijuana, hashish and cocaine.

Adam Cormier was remanded into custody to the Cape Breton County Correctional Centre and has been charged with Uttering Threats, Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marijuana and Hashish and Possession of Cocaine.
