RCMP arrest man in convenience store robbery, Middle Sackville, N.S.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. last evening, Halifax District RCMP responded to a call about a robbery in progress on Sackville Dr.

A man entered the convenience store with his face covered and demanded the clerk hand over cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets. After knocking over displays the man fled the store without any product.

Police located a 26-year-old man matching the description near the scene. The accused faces charges of Robbery and Wearing a Disguise with Intent and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.

The investigation which is ongoing is being led by General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
