Colchester District RCMP have arrested an Onslow youth for Luring a Child, Distribution of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.

On April 4, 2014, the RCMP responded to a call involving youth from the Onslow area.

As a result, Colchester County RCMP, General Investigation Section and the Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in Onslow later that night.

Cellular phones and computer equipment were seized and a 15-year-old male youth was arrested and later released on conditions. More charges may result from the ongoing police investigation. The youth is scheduled to appear in Truro Youth Court April 14, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.
