RCMP arrest youth committing Break and Enter into school

 

February 10, 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . Halifax RCMP responded to an alarm at a school in Cole Harbour and located a 15-year-old male inside.
 
At 2:40 a.m., RCMP in Cole Harbour responded to an intrusion alarm at Colonel John Stuart Elementary School.  Upon arrival, officers saw one of the windows was open and a suspect was seen walking around inside.  When the suspect exited the school, RCMP members and the HRP K9 Unit were waiting for him.  The youth was arrested without incident and held overnight.  He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Court today on the following offences:
Breach of Probation (3 counts)
Break and Enter
Possession of Break-in Instrument
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
