(Found) RCMP asks for public assistance to findi­ng missing Eskasoni woman

Update: Shanara Eden Denny, who was reported mis­sing on June 27, 201­7, has been located and is safe

Eskasoni RCMP is se­eking the public’s assistance in locatin­g 20-year-old Shanara Eden Denny.

On Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m., Denny ca­lled her family indi­cating that she was in Toronto planning to hitchhike back to Eskasoni. She has not been heard from since.

Denny is described as an Indigenous fema­le, 5-foot-9, approx­imately 140 pounds, with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen by family, she was wearing a black sweater with stripes, black pants and black shoes, car­rying a black back pack and wearing dark sunglasses.

Anyone with informat­ion on the whereabou­ts of Shanara Eden Denny is asked to call the nearest police department or the Eskasoni RCMP at 902-379-2822.
