RCMP charge man for drug trafficking, Enfield, N.S.

RCMP have charged a man for drug trafficking in Lantz.

Late Wednesday night at 12:40 a.m., Enfield RCMP’s Street Crime Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop on Highway 2.

Officers discovered over 2 kilograms of cannabis marijuana inside the vehicle. The driver, who was alone at the time, was arrested and brought to Enfield RCMP Detachment for questioning.

A 21-year old man from Lantz is facing charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. He was released from police custody and will be appearing in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on June 2nd.
