RCMP have charged a man with sex and drugs offences in Eskasoni.
On Monday, December 9, 2013, RCMP received a complaint that a thirteen-year-old female was sexually assaulted in Eskasoni during the previous night.
The investigation lead to Justin Ryan Gould, 35-years-old, being arrested and charged with Sexual Interference, Sexual Assault and Administering a Noxious Substance.
Also, as a result of this investigation, Eskasoni RCMP executed a drug search warrant at an apartment on Castlebay Road in Eskasoni. A large quantity of marijuana, prescription pills and cash was seized. Mr. Gould also faces charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Trafficking of Controlled Substances.
Justin Ryan Gould has been remanded into custody and will be appearing in Sydney Provincial Court on Thursday December 12th for a show cause hearing.
