RCMP dismantle indoor grow operation, Port Wade, N.S.

Annapolis County District RCMP dismantled an indoor marijuana grow operation and arrested an Annapolis County man after a residence and property were searched in Port Wade yesterday.

On April 14th at approximately 4:00 p.m.

, Annapolis County District RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence and property on Granville Rd. As a result, RCMP seized 100 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia and grow operation equipment. A 38-year-old Port Wade man was arrested without incident at the scene and is facing a charge of Production of Cannabis Marijuana. He was released from police custody on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on a later date. The investigation is continuing.
