RCMP hosts ‘Ask a Mountie’ Twitter session about safe driving, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S.

As part of Safe Driving Week 2013, the Nova Scotia RCMP will host an ‘Ask a Mountie’ Twitter Session tomorrow, Thursday, December 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Drivers puzzled by rite-of-ways at four way stops, what the rules are for cellphone use while driving, or other traffic safety related questions will have an opportunity to ask Cst. Mark Skinner of ‘H’ Division Traffic Services. Cst. Skinner is part of the team that patrols Nova Scotia’s highways and secondary roads, educates road users on safe driving practices, and when necessary conducts enforcement activities.

People following hashtag #NSMountieTalk or @RCMPNS on Twitter will be able to ask questions and interact directly with Cst. Skinner.

‘Ask a Mountie’ is a Twitter exclusive. Those not yet on Twitter are invited to visit: www.twitter.com and sign up. It only takes a few seconds and it is free. Once signed up, be sure to follow the Nova Scotia RCMP’s Twitter handle: @RCMPNS.

You can join the chat by logging onto Twitter and searching the hashtag #nsmountietalk.
