A traffic stop this past weekend led officers to seize a significant quantity of ‘Shatter’, a highly potent derivative of marihuana.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. Sunday, officers from Annapolis Valley RCMP Traffic Services were conducting a checkpoint when they made observations that occupants in a vehicle may be transporting marihuana products. As a result, RCMP seized a small amount of marihuana and a 32 grams of ‘Shatter’.
RCMP arrested the 25-year-old male passenger of the vehicle for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on May 16, 2016 in Kentville Provincial Court.
