RCMP in Sherbrooke investigate break and enter, Port Bickerton, N.S.

At 6:43 p.m. this evening, Sherbrooke RCMP responded to a 911 call of a break and enter at a residence on Port Bickerton Village Rd in Port Bickerton.

Three men entered a residence where the homeowner was present. An argument occurred between the homeowner; however the 52-year-old resident was not injured.

The suspects left the area on foot but were quickly located by RCMP in a vehicle travelling toward Antigonish on Highway 7. The vehicle was stopped and the suspects were taken into custody. The men aged 19, 21 and 29 from the Lower Sackville area are being held in custody pending a court appearance in Antigonish Provincial Court. Charges are pending.

The investigation is ongoing with Guysborough County and Sherbrooke RCMP.
