RCMP Investigate Bus / Pedestrian Accident in Shearwater


On Friday, March 4, 2016, at approx 10:24 P.M., a 23 year old male who had recently disembarked from a Halifax Transit bus on Main Road in Shearwater, NS, ran alongside it as it was pulling away from the curb and somehow got entangled with the rear tire of the bus. His right leg was run over, and he is currently hospitalized and undergoing surgery for none-life threatening injuries. This matter is still under investigation but at this pint no charges are pending.
