RCMP investigate complaint of pointing a firearm, Hebbville, N.S.

Bridgewater RCMP have arrested two people in relation to a complaint of pointing a firearm.

On Sunday morning at approximately 6:30 a.m.

, Bridgewater RCMP, with the assistance of the Bridgewater Police Service, arrested two people after a complaint of pointing a firearm was received. Preliminary investigation revealed that a shotgun had been pointed at two people who attended a residence in Hebbville.

Dakota James Parsons, 27, of Hebbville, Lunenburg County has been charged with the following offences: three Firearms offences, one Break and Enter offence and one Possession of Stolen Property. The last two charges stem from a break and enter into a business in the Lunenburg area on November 1st, 2013. A second person arrested on Sunday morning was not charged in relation to this incident.

Parsons appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court yesterday and matters were set over for a later date. The police investigation is continuing.
