RCMP investigate fatal accident in East Preston

At approximately​ 5:10 p.m. this evening, Halifax District RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision​ in East Preston, where a dump truck became submerge in the Partridge River.​ ​

The fire department was able​ to remove the 64 year old male driver from the vehicle.​ The male was transported to the hospital by​ ambulance where he was pronounced dead.​ ​ ​

RCMP Collision Analyst has been called in to assist with the investigation.
