RCMP investigate fatal single vehicle motorcycle collision
RCMP is investigating a fatal single-vehicle motorcycle collision that occurred this evening on Cobequid Rd. in Lower Sackville.
Just before 6:00 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on Cobequid Rd. in Lower Sackville. RCMP, EHS and fire personnel attended and the lone motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased.
A collision analyst was called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Cobequid Rd. between Lakeview Rd and Stonemount Dr. is currently closed and will remain closed for several hours. Traffic is being diverted to Stonemount Dr.
