RCMP investigate robbery in Lower Sackville

 

Just before 9:30 p.m., a man entered a service station on Sackville Dr. and demanded money from the cashier. The cashier handed over a sum of money, and the suspect fled the scene on foot. There was no one else in the store at the time of the incident. The suspect did not use a weapon, and no one was injured. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s with a thin build. He was wearing a hoodie and ball cap at the time.

 

RCMP and HRP members responded, along with an HRP K-9 unit. They did not locate the suspect, but did find the suspect’s hat and hoodie near a business on Cobequid Rd. shortly afterwards.
