RCMP investigate serious injury motor vehicle incident, Waterford, N.S.

RCMP are investigating a serious motor vehicle incident that resulted in one man being transported to hospital. At approximately 1:04 a.m., Digby RCMP, along with Fire and EHS attended an incident in Waterford, Digby County, where an intoxicated male jumped out of a moving truck and sustained serious injuries.

At approximately 1:04 a.m., Digby RCMP, along with Fire and EHS attended an incident in Waterford, Digby County, where an intoxicated male jumped out of a moving truck and sustained serious injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates a truck with five occupants was traveling Eastbound along Highway 217, when a male occupant opened the passenger door and jumped from the moving vehicle.

A 27-year-old male from Digby County was transported to Halifax by EHS with serious injuries. The investigation is continuing.
