RCMP investigate suspicious activity, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S.

RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance after suspicious activity in Cole Harbour.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m., Cole Harbour RCMP received a call from a residence on Poplar Drive.

When police arrived, they found that the house had been struck had with an object that caused black marks. Pieces of glass were on the ground and a smell of gasoline remained. It appears that the object may have been on fire leaving black scorch marks on the house. A police service dog assisted with the investigation and located some rags smelling of gasoline in a garbage can. The rags were disposed safely by police.
