On November 6, Kings District RCMP was called to a grocery store in New Minas to investigate a theft of personal items that were left in a shopping cart in the parking lot. Police attended and determined that a black travel bag had been removed from a shopping cart. The bag contained money and a foreign passport and driver’s license.
Police identified a suspect through the store’s video surveillance. A woman with longer length brown hair wearing a white jacket, plaid shirt, black mask and black leggings was observed removing the travel bag from the victims shopping cart at approximately 8:45 p.m. The woman then drove away in a white compact sized vehicle.
