Koblec, Nova Scotia
At 6:40 a.m. this morning, Cumberland District RCMP received a 911 call of a collision involving a car and a tractor trailer on the Kolbec Rd. in Kolbec.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the car has been transported by EHS LifeFlight to the QEII in Halifax with serious injuries. A passenger in the car and the driver of the tractor trailer have been transported by EHS to the Cumberland Regional Health Centre with undetermined injuries.
As a result of a collision, a detour is currently in place. Traffic travelling into Oxford on the Kolbec Rd. (Hwy 301) will be detoured at the intersection of Kolbec Rd. and Dickson Rd. to Mt. Pleasant Rd. back to Kolbec Rd.

Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia
Prior to 11:30 a.m. this morning, Halifax District RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on the South Rd. in Middle Musquodoboit.
As a result of the collision, an adult female, who was a passenger in a car, was transported by EHS to the QEII in Halifax with life-threatening injuries. Three other occupants in the vehicle were assessed by EHS at the scene. The two occupants of the second vehicle were assessed by EHS at the scene.
An RCMP Collision Analyst is on scene and the road is expected to be closed for several hours.
The investigation is continuing.
