RCMP Investigate Vehicle / Pedestrian Accident – Tantallon

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a collision that occurred between a car and a pedestrian.

Last evening at approximately 7:55 p.m., a nine-year-old boy was struck by a car on Fox Ridge Rd., Upper Tantallon. The boy sustained minor injuries and was later transported to the IWK to be checked over.

The car that struck the boy was a 2011 Honda Civic driven by a 19-year-old woman.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.
