Halifax District RCMP responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision sending one man to hospital.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. today, Halifax District RCMP and EHS attended the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 7.
Preliminary investigation determined a man was crossing the highway in a cross walk from a grocery store to a gas bar when a vehicle exited the gas bar, turned left onto Highway 7 and struck the man.
The 32-year-old Cole Harbour man was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The exact cause of the collision remains under investigation and a decision on charges has not been made at this time.
