RCMP investigates after nail found in a potato, Berwick, N.S.

Kings District RCMP is investigating an incident where a nail was found in a potato in Berwick. At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday evening, Kings District RCMP received a complaint from a citizen that a nail had been found in a potato.

At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday evening, Kings District RCMP received a complaint from a citizen that a nail had been found in a potato.

Preliminary investigation determined that the complainant had purchased two five pound bags of Griffin Russet potatoes from Foodland in Berwick on May 27th, 2015. The complainant then returned the affected potato and the bags to Foodland on Monday. No one was hurt in this incident.
