Meteghan RCMP is investigating a fatal collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Little Brook Station.

This evening, at approximately 8:55 p.m. Yarmouth District RCMP was called to the area near 445 Little Brook Rd. Preliminary investigation determined a truck was westbound on the roadway and slowed down to make a right turn into a driveway when struck from behind by the motorcycle travelling in the same direction.

The sole rider of the motorcycle, died at the scene.  Further details on the deceased are pending next of kin notifications. The male driver and passenger of the truck were not injured.

An RCMP collision analyst is on the scene of the collision and the road is expected to be closed for several hours overnight.

The investigation is ongoing.
