Colchester County RCMP remains on scene of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Main St. earlier this morning.
At approximately 4:45 a.m., RCMP, EHS and Tatamagouche Fire Department responded to a report of a motorcycle crash involving a lone rider.
Preliminary investigation determined that the male rider was traveling westbound on Highway 6 when he lost control of his vehicle near Main St. intersection. The 24-year-old Tatamagouche man, who was found in a driveway, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An RCMP traffic analyst is assisting investigators at the scene. RCMP advises that intersection of Main St. and Highway 6 will be closed intermittently for the next several hours so RCMP can continue its investigation.
