RCMP investigates fatal single vehicle crash – Bible Hill

RCMP investigates fatal single vehicle crash

RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred this afternoon on College Rd., Bible Hill.

At 2:38 p.m.,​ the RCMP, EHS and Bible Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single vehicle crash near the intersection of College and Vimy Rd. The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, a 60-year-old woman, from Bible Hill, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. An RCMP Collision Analyst​ is​ on scene and the roadway remains closed. It is expected to remain closed until late evening. Traffic is being diverted to Cumming Dr. and Blanchard Rd.
