RCMP investigates theft of trailer and lobster gear, Port LaTour, N.S.

Barrington RCMP is investigating the theft of a trap trailer and lobster crates that occurred overnight on August 4. Preliminary investigation determined that approximately 1:40 a.m. a trailer was stolen from Surf Seafoods, located on Commercial St.

Barrington RCMP is investigating the theft of a trap trailer and lobster crates that occurred overnight on August 4.

Preliminary investigation determined that approximately 1:40 a.m. a trailer was stolen from Surf Seafoods, located on Commercial St.

in Port Latour. The trailer was then used in the theft of 245 lobster crates from Reynolds Trucking located on Port Latour Rd. The loss of gear and trailer is estimated at over $14,000.
