East Hants District RCMP is investigating the assault of a three-year-old child at an unlicenced residential daycare in Enfield.
On January 31, East Hants District RCMP received a complaint that a child had been assaulted. The investigation resulted in a 55-year-old woman from Enfield facing charges of Assault. She was arrested on February 3 and released on conditions. She is scheduled to appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on March 13.
East Hants District RCMP would like to advise parents that if they have concerns, or if they have information about this incident, to contact East Hants District RCMP at 902 883-7077.
