RCMP release:

Lunenburg District RCMP is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Hwy. 10 in Pinehurst.

On November 1, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Lunenburg District RCMP, fire and EHS, responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Hwy. 10 in Pinehurst. RCMP officers learned that a pickup truck had been travelling on Hwy. 10 when it left the road and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver, and lone occupant, a 36-year-old Indian Path man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Hwy. 10 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
