At approximately 12:37 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police were notified of a collision on the Hwy. 204. in West Leicester.
Cumberland County District RCMP, Fire and EHS attended the scene and found a car struck a utility pole. The driver and lone occupant, a 27-year-old woman from Sackville, New Brunswick was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A collision re-constructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing. The highway was closed for several hours and has since reopened.
