(Updated) RCMP investigating hit-and-run pedestrian collision

Update: The RCMP investigation from earlier today of the hit-and-run ped­estrian collision, the subject of intere­st has been located.

At 9:27 a.m. Lower Sackville RCMP respon­ded to a call of a woman who had been hit by a truck near the side of the road on Cobequid Rd. The truck left the scene following the collis­ion. The woman susta­ined serious injuries and has been trans­ported to hospital by EHS.

The RCMP would like to speak to the driv­er of a black tractor trailer (car haule­r) regarding its pos­sible involvement in the collision.
