Thursday, October 14th, 2010, Halifax Regional Municipality, N.S…..Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the RCMP/Halifax Regional Police (HRP) General Investigative Section are investigating a home invasion that occured on Taranaki Drive in Cole Harbour, NS.
At approximately 8:00 AM, RCMP members received a call from a woman stating that two men forced their way into her house. The suspects were in possession of what appeared to be a handgun. The two suspects fled on foot. RCMP Police Dog Service (PDS) and HRP K9 Units were called to the scene. The matter remains under investigation.
One was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and his face was covered with a blue bandana. No further description is available at this time.
