RCMP investigating snowmobile collision, Middle Sackville, N.S.

Yesterday evening shortly after 9 p.m., Lower Sackville RCMP members responded to a snowmobile collision on Springfield Lake in Middle Sackville.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the snowmobile struck a concrete wall near the shore after crossing Springfield Lake.

The female driver and passenger were ejected from the machine.

The driver suffered serious injuries and the driver and passenger were both transported to hospital.

Police are advising recreational drivers to familiarize themselves with the environment prior to heading out on the trails.
