RCMP investigating suspicious death in New Minas

RCMP were called to the scene of a body of a deceased man discovered outside a home on Lockhart Dr. this morning at 9:25 a.m. The death is being classified as suspicious at this time.

The RCMP has arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the death. No charges have been laid at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

The matter is being investigated by Nova Scotia RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crimes Unit. The RCMP is asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at902 679-5561, or should you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or submit tips by Secure Web Tips atwww.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
